Kent County Color Tour
Fall is the perfect time to experience the natural beauty throughout the area. To assist travelers eager to take in the sites, Kent County Road Commission offers the Color Tour of Kent County. Encompassing 274 total miles, the Color Tour guides motorists along county roads showcasing picturesque seasonal scenes. The Color Tour is divided into nine (9) routes that may be connected for longer trips or driven individually for briefer outings.
Along the way, travelers may enjoy Kent County and township parks, each with its own unique scenic character and recreational opportunities.

“The Color Tour is something the road commission produced years ago. In fact, we still have files of tours from the 1950s through the 1980s. In 2016, we decided to resurrect the color tour thinking that it would be a great tradition to restore,” said Managing Director Steve Warren.
KCRC encourages people to #LoveFallRoads and share their favorite photos from stops along the color tour. Photos may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, posted to facebook.com/MIKCRC or tweeted to @MIKCRC.
