The 84th Street Bridge over the Thornapple River in Caledonia Township will undergo preventative maintenance beginning April 4. The project, which is projected to be completed by June 3, will include partial bridge deck removal with cold-milling and hydro-demolition equipment, deck joint replacement, bridge deck paving, substructure patching, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) approach paving, and striping.
The 84th Street Bridge deck was last repaired in 1990.
The bridge will be closed for the duration of the project. The detour, below, will be posted.

MDOT Bridge Fund: 95%, KCRC: 5%
