  Information for Residents

This project includes a full depth cold mill of the existing 5-lane asphalt surface and placement of two (2) courses of HMA.  Milling and paving work will be phased to maintain 2-way traffic at all times.  Bid with Wolverine Boulevard segment.

This project includes the cold mill of existing asphalt surface and placement of new Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) – Include with Montcalm CRC Project

This project includes installation of underdrains, placement of 4-inch layer of aggregate over existing asphalt pavement (over concrete pavement), the pulverizing of  aggregate and asphalt, grading and placement of two (2) courses of HMA.  Through traffic will be detoured.

Bridge superstructure replacement project to remove the existing concrete deck and steel beams and replace with galvanized steel beams and reinforced concrete deck and railing. Traffic will be detoured.

Culvert rehabilitation project to repair deteriorated portion of the existing triple corrugated metal pipe arches with reinforced concrete placed on the bottom internal portion of the galvanized metal culverts.

Modify and upgrade existing traffic signal, with box span configuration, LED signal heads, backplates and updated detection.

Widen existing 2-lane portion to 3 lanes.  Work includes earthwork, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, drainage, HMA pavement, pavement markings and restoration. Through traffic will be detoured.
