This bridge preventative maintenance project will consist of spot cleaning and painting on the steel bridge beams, deck patching, deck sealing, joint seal replacement, and construction of concrete approach slabs at both sides of the bridge. The project will be substantially complete by August 16, 2002, however the deck sealing operations may take place after that date under temporary flagging or intermittent use of the temporary traffic signal.
Traffic will be maintained via one-lane on the bridge by use of an automated temporary traffic signal deployed at each end of the bridge.
