Open House
The Kent County Road Commission is planning to reconstruct 13 Mile Road from Kenowa Avenue to Peach Ridge Avenue during 2018 and 2019. This project will be upgrading 13 Mile Road to an all season road. Work will include tree removal, earthwork, shoulder widening, ditch work, culvert work, grading, sand subbase, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter at the intersections, asphalt paving, pavement markings and restoration.
KCRC has scheduled a project information open house between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on July 26, 2017, at Sparta Township Hall located at 160 East Division, Sparta, MI 49345. The purpose of the open house is to provide property owners and businesses with an opportunity to review and comment on the preliminary plans for this road project. Representatives of the Road Commission will be present to answer questions about the proposed construction. There is no planned presentation; therefore you may arrive anytime between 5 - 7 p.m.
