Alpenhorn Drive

York Creek Drive to Chasseral Drive NW

Projected Closure February 22 - March 9, 2018

The Kent County Road Commission will close Alpenhorn Drive between York Creek Drive and Chasseral Drive NW beginning tonight, February 22, at 7 p.m. The stretch of road has been consolidated to one lane of alternating two-way traffic since September 2017 due to a deteriorated metal culvert. Culvert replacement is scheduled for the upcoming 2018 construction season; however, deterioration has progressed. Therefore, in the best interest of motorist safety, KCRC will be closing the roadway to install a temporary bridge; the sidewalk will remain open.
